Orientia
Orientia tsutsugamushi is an obligate intracellular alpha-proteobacterium of the family Rickettsiaceae. Scrub typhus is the disease caused by this organism in the Asia-Pacific region when transmitted by infected chiggers, larval mites. Our updated product has turned the box display to a linear display representing 4 strains of O. tsutsugamushi (Boryong, Gilliam, Karp and Kato).
